Please send good thoughts out to Cubs radio broadcaster Ron Santo as he was sent to the hospital after Saturday’s game with an irregular heartbeat.  We all know that Ronnie is a fighter and we like to think of him as indestructable, but he’s had heart problems in the past and can’t take any chances.  At minimum, he’ll miss the rest of this homestand and will probably skip the next roadtrip to St. Louis and Pittsburgh.  Dave Otto will keep Pat Hughes company in the radio booth in Santo’s absence.
