Not close in the close ones
When are the Cubs going to start winning the close ones? They are 0-6 in 1-run games this season. They aren’t much better in 2-run contests, with a record of 1-3. Most of these games have been low scoring, so the lack of hitting has been much more of a problem than the pitching. With body parts practically falling off our pitching staff the last few years, you’d think we’d have the opposite problem.
