Ouch
It’s not being unfaithful to be a little worried right now. The Cubs need to sweep the next three games against a very good team to avoid elimination. Of course it’s possible, especially if the Cubs spend Friday looking at film and taking batting practice against breaking balls. None of these guys are going to throw in the towel. They don’t want to go home any more than we want the season to end.
Today is officially Steve Goodman Day in Illinois, so despite the loss last night, make sure to sing “Go Cubs Go” at least once today.
After two late nights of baseball, it will be nice to get some sleep tonight. I hope we all get the chance to be sleep deprived again after a Game 5 in Arizona on Tuesday.

I have tickets to game 5 in Phoenix, so I’ll be watching and cheering intently over the weekend! We’ve had faith for 99 years, what’s a few more days?

I’ll be at Saturday’s game, hopefully bringing home a winner. I’d love you to not have to get a refund on those tickets!
