Oh, What a Fourth
On Saturday the weather was perfect and the game lived up to everything a Cubs fan could have wanted. Scoring nine runs in the fourth inning, including two home runs by Edmonds, the Cubs gave us plenty to cheer about. Of course, the bullpen had to make it interesting towards the end. Maybe Marmol has gotten his share of wildness out of his system for the month, or the next few. I certainly hope it’s mental and not physical. Then again, the former can sometimes be harder to fix.
Now on to sweep the Sox, which would put us back to 20 games over .500. What would be more important would be to shut up Ozzie, at least until next weekend when we visit them at the Cell. Bring out the brooms!
